newb question
i have a 92 hatch with b20 im buying b16 first gen head with 3 angle valve job and skunk2 manifold and tb...i want to get a nitrous kit but im not sure if i should just keep it like dat or spray and if i spray should i go wet or dry?what about ecu?does it have anything to do with nitrous kit?can someone please help me?
I hear wet kits are better... but still
know that spraying will overtime decrease the integrity of your entire vehicle
you can drop a crate engine in a 1000lb car and go fast; but with out big brakes i would feel uneasy opening the throttle.
you can spray on a stock b20 with a head swap and some head work; but will it be a dependable fast car that will last through the spraying abuse? I can't say
I personally wouldn't spend my money on NOS.... save 2k more and use that 5-600$ to have your engine tuned
it never hurts to research... nothing compares to a well tuned NA with agressive cams a short geared tranny and some 15inch wheels
eghatchin
+ I have no clue how ECU's relates to adding NOS
we always bought a spray kit for ***** and giggles when we wanted to blow d15's spray a 125hp dry shot for a satisfying pop and a big mess of fluids

I would save my money up for a turbo and a tune. Atleast that way the car would be more dependable but still add quite a bit of kick. You can adjust the PSI for days at the track and days for daily driving.

true story
same is true about cars in general though
but to answer the OP, you can get tuned for nitrous as well. nitrous is the best bang for the buck mod you can do. get a nice direct port 100 shot and tuning, it will be just as reliable as a turbo set up. just as long as you dont go squeezing all around town at every stoplight like mr johnny racer
