Default Finally Done!! LSV - Dyno Chart !

Well after 7 months, the motor is built and on the go.
I had to deal with a ton of bullshit this year and getting this built PROPER.
Wasnt able to go all out with it, cause of money and the constant problems, so the final build I am very satisfied with, but down the road I'll get more out of it I think. As for now I'm just happy to have it running strong so I'll enjoy it for now!

Specs:
95 LS bottom end
Stock crank
.25 bore to clean cylinders
Eagle Rods
ARP rod Bolts
Weisco 12:1 pistons

B16a1 head
BC spec 3+ cams
all BC valve train
NO headwork

RC 440's
AEBS 68mm TB
Blox IM
high flow fuel rail
b&m fuel reg

version 1 Rage header
vibrant 2.5" highflow cat
BC pro spec exhaust
ARC induction box

GSR Tranny
Action 1MD clutch
Fidanza flywheel

P28 ECU chipped with Crome

Next year I am forsure running a kteller 2.5 exhaust system and for performance days I'm gonna grab a new intake. The ARC is BAALLLLLLIINNN but it cost me 8hp on the dyno.

Then we went for a final glory pull

Like I said its my first real build, I hit my goal of 200whp allmtr so I am happy with it............... for now

Ohh yea, I have to give props to Dave at http://www.defcon-racing.com
He rebuilt the head for me and help on the tune and basically brought it to life!

Mad props to Dave

pretty decent #s but id expect a bit more torque and HP out of a 2L.

not a 2L bore.

LS crank = B20 crank
LS crank + 84.5 mm = 2L or 1996cc

True the ARC intake is *enter Jim Jones*"BAAAAALLLLIIIIIIN"*/Jim Jones* but with a short ram and stack, you would gain quite a bit of power. And I think this may be a FIRST for Honda-Tech, but HOLY UNDER-CAMMING BATMAN! Typically H-T is always about the big sticks, but damn man...you got a solid motor. Add some bigger cams and you're gonna see a WHOLE LOT of HP gain! *cough M22x cough*

Awesome curve!

Thanks bro, I'm super happy with the motor as it is right now. Like I said its my first real build so I like where its at. Good for me to learn on/from.
In the future I definatly am gonna do some revamping. Head work and bigger cams forsure

I was thinking about grabbing a stack too. I have read some very impressive info on those.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by slowsleeper &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">seems like the motor was gonna be able to hold the power for a couple hundred more rpms..the trq curve is awesome what your redline?</TD></TR></TABLE>

You think I can get some more RPM's outta her? I have had serious issues with oil burning from the previous builder. Dave helped me out and found the issue. seals and springs incorrectly installed in the head and redid the head basically. He didn't touch the block so we dont know how well it was assemble from the previous builder. With that in consideration, Dave thought it wasnt going to make much more HP after the current redline and said just to play it safe keep the redline as is. Currently set to 8500.

I Just wanna take it easy I think for now. We didnt even mess with the gears on the tune, I dont know if the reliefs were shaved, what the clearance is like. The head appears it was shaved a bit.

My bad dude, I'm still learning.
Currently I have

LS Crank
Stock LS Block + .25 overbore to hone cylinders

I thought I read on the piston box it was 84.mm but I guess I'm wrong

Mississauga Engines!!!

Cesear, or whoever he got to do the work.
From what I remember installed valve seals and valve springs incorrectly.
I wet through 2 blocks
3 trips only to never have the seals changed or looked at.
By the end I couldnt even crank the motor. it was just pissin oil inside.
The motor was just butchered and they couldnt figure out the problem on 3 seperate times.

From my own personal experience for any machine/assembly work do not go to Mississauaga Engines, yes he continued to try and fix the issue for free. But A) He Couldnt B) I sent the car off last april/may. They had it for months, I am only now getting the car on the road and the tempt is now rapidly dropping!!! Dam you winter

Not knocking you but just seems a little odd that you didnt know what size bore you were going with and were only basing yourself on what the piston box said.

Anyways...yeah good numbers for a 1.8!

It's nice to *try* to fix the issue for free...but what kind of a builder is he if he installed seals and valve springs wrong?

I'm glad you got this resolved man, I remember reading your thread and kept thinking it's piston rings and valve seals...but never though of the springs installed wrong.

glad your keeping the car and engine also

Nice numbers, I'm glad you got it fixed.
BLox B, M22x, or Pro2s will make it even better.

Get a B16 tranny, it'll be even faster at the track.

seems low to me, a 2.L should look more like this every 84 + bore i have done with stock heads makes atleast 140 wtq or more might not be enough compression. I don't mean to jack your thread but i have alot of experience with this build. Skunk cams NOTHING ELSE.

[EDIT] SORRY I DELETED THIS SO IT DIDN"T TAKE THE WHOLE PAGE
