What gasket are you using for your testpipe?
what gasket are you using between the test pipe and the b-pipe? i just put mine on and sounds like a big leak! its either the flare on my test pipe is to small or i need a gasket between the test pipe and b-pipe....
A leak is a common problem with Test-pipes, did you have yours made or buy one? The best exhaust sealant that I have used is Red silicone, Yes Red Silicone! A racer friend turned me onto it at it works wonders at sealing exhausts.

i bought mine from testpipe.com it was an inch too long and the flare on it isnt that big....where do u get red silicon? is that the name brand?
You must run a gasket between the test pipe and B pipe. Don't buy the Mr. Gasket it won't last, try to find a hi temp graphite.

bringing back an old topic, for clarification.. i'm not using a testpipe, but I assume I need the same gasket(carsound to greddy evo b-pipe, 2.5")..
are hi temp graphite gaskets available at most muffler shops, or is this something i'm going to search for? also, since the Mr. Gasket has been vetoed, are there other suitable options?
thanks!

seriously though, just trying to do it right the first time, so i don't have to redo it.. heh..
A good muffler shop should have one. You want one of the graphite ones (Black shiny and slicks surface, or the stainless steel foil type.
