Default Honda Integra Type-R (220hp version) where to find in NA?

I know they are selling a 220hp version of the Integra/RSX in Japan, but was curious if there was any way to get this car stateside?

220hp in an RSX makes my mouth water. Has anyone had the privilege to have driven this beast? Any comments on its handling?

motorex in cali imports the skyline, silvia, and other jdm cars. they might be able to source a type r for a pretty penny. why don't you get a usdm type s and with the money you saved you could make it much quicker than a stock type r?

Motorex is not in business anymore.

Just swap a K20A into a Type-S.

don't even bother swapping in a jdm k20.. get a CAI, a good race header, a catback, maybe some cams, and then get k-pro and tune it. You'll be putting out way more power than a stock ITR.
