So I've decided to take it upon myself to "Pay Back" Some People here with a Contest...or 2

Now here are the Contests....
Since there will be TWO... Simultaneously running at the same time!</FONT>

Rules
User can submit TWO pictures of their car (MUST BE A 06+ CIVIC!!!)in a "holiday" setting or location.
NO PHOTOSHOPS!
No mod/admin of Honda-tech is eligible
Must be submitted by 12/20</FONT>

Contest #2 = FAQ/HOW TO ESSAY CONTEST

Rules
User's submit complete writeup's/how to's on numerous questions posted up (since they all hate the reposts)

Prizes will be awarded
on the 20th, both contests will end and all "submits" will be put to a vote from the 20th to the 25th & on Xmas....</FONT>

(keep in mind this is coming out of pocket, so don't expect a laptop or 1000 dollar gift BUT it won't be something crappy! )

Is photoshop not allowed period? Or just no photoshopping the car into a setting. I'm not good with lighting and cameras.

u can touch up a picture
but no adding things to it.

You should be able to submit a good picture now with the 59cm of snow that you got

I just talked to my friend at Western yesterday, they got dumped on nicely.

 

we got waaay too much snow for only december...feels like winter should already be over and its not even christmas yet
i'd take pictures for this for sure but my Si is sleeping for the winter

 

good work mike... pic looks real nice only suggestion is to play with the white balance settings to get rid of the orange hue from nearby lights. did you end up getting that 50 mm ? shot a GTO yesterday and had a chance to use my new lens and was impressed to say the least ,,, def reccomend it.

got some plans for the holiday pic contest, just have to get my **** together before too long

i have it saved in my favorites but my friend recommended another 50mm but i think it was a 1.4 as opposed to 2.8 or vice versa.
PM me and we will discuss.

 

Hopefully I can get some nice pics before the 20th.
