Coils Interchangable?!

Coils Interchangable?!
Ok, I searched but I didnt come up with any completely SOLID answers. All I found were maybes, or I thinks.
My Question is, my d16z6 dizzy crapped the bed. The cap and rotor button look to be in tip top shape. I have a gut feeling that its the coil. I have a junk d15z1 kicking around, Can I use the coil from that? I would use the complete dizzy but its mangled.
My ultimate question is, are all d series coils the same / interchangable, such as a d15b7 coil and my d16z6 coil?
