Default TWM 52mm on stock EG H22?

Hi guys.

I want your opinion on fitting a 52mm TWM ITB on a stock H22 block in a EG body, hondata tuned. Would there be runner length problems since it is a EG body? And is it really a good idea or not?

if the throttles were smaller and the runners were longer then it would be ok.

There fine to run on a stock more they well help the motor breath better too. Trust me I have some on a stock h22 crx.

this is true but they are not going to breathe better if the stock exhaust manifold and exhaust are suffocating it...also headwork is something i would highly recommend to get it to work at its peak...putting ITB's on it and calling it a day is really not going to net the horsepoewer like it would if the motor was setup for them

Try it and let us know. I'm sure if you tune it you could probably get some good gains!

Well i have a 2.5" exhaust already and am planning on a RMF or SMSP header. I do know that a smaller diameter tb like 48mm would be better off on a stock engine, however i am planning on p&p with jun3's. on the long run stroking it on a 12.5 to 13 cr.

My point/ question is. paying for a skunk2 im, 70mm tb, fuel rail and fpr, would i be better off with the twm52mm for a couple of bucks extra?

1500 dollars with rail and fpr. I live in europe and that will be more like 1200 for me.
