PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
i just put my B20/TYPE R motor together and the timing is perfectly aligned with eveything, but when i start it, it takes 2 times turning the egnition key to start it, and when it starts the car immediately revs to 3500k and stays there.???????????I see no vaccuum leaks and the trottle cable is fine and not opened at all. I'm stumped, and so are my buddies.DOES ANYONE KNOW OF THIS PROBLEM?????? Should i just let it go too see if it comes down to an idle after a couple of minutes or is this dangerous to do??????? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
checc you iac and the idle adjustment screw on the TB... maybe your timing is to advanced also...but you said that timing is on... i would swap out my iac first and go from there..

For the engine to rev to 3500 it needs air. Either you have a very large vacuum leak or your throttle body is open quite a bit.

First off your making yourself look stupid. You put together a motor and dont know the parts people are telling you to check.
Oh boy... Check the idle screw on the throttle body. Its a flat head.
