Default Cleaning EG6 Gauge Face

The previous owner of my EG6 cluster put fingerprints on the white face. I was wondering if there's a safe cleaner to use on the faces without damaging them. I was thinking a little soap and water, but I don't exactly know if that's safe.

Be careful of scratching the surface. The guage faces are painted so I would use a soft cloth and possibly a light solvent such as water to start with. Might want to try a mild soap also. The paint is very thin. Rub gently.

Try a damp q-tip but just be gentle.

Would a q-tip work?
