so, the experience would you like to be around the tuning process?.......do you have any bad experiences with tuning...and for the record you have a type r your doing great........also, one more thing do you think that the tuner scene is primarly going to turn to k series as the next generation....
In my opinion there are 2 major things a tuning shop needs.
1) A positive and helpful attitude with great customer service.
2) Highly skilled technicians that back their work
you'll need both if you want to be highly successful.
EDIT: I can't tell you how many times I've called up a shop, and just by the way the guy on the other end sounded I decided to persue other places,
for customer service.

Trust. Nothing worse than going to a shop and having the feeling your car will get stolen within the next week. If you have a bunch of low life trash working there, no one will come.

My guess is that he was banned for posting this question in every forum. I'm sure it was spam.

I didn't know the ITR forum was such a powerful tool for marketing research?
If you're going to start a tuning shop, wouldn't it be obvious what clients expect based on personal experience/history of utilizing other shops services in the past?

Yeah, he's got at least 6 of these threads.

Perhaps this wasn't the best way to go about it, but the fact is this is a potentially helpful question. I don't see the need to ban the user for it if he was sincere in his request. The very fact that an upstart tuning facility is asking the community what it wants is a good sign. The only thing I can criticize is the fact that the user was a n00b, and didn't know the users well enough for the "privilege" to ask such a question. A rather weak criticism indeed.
One suggestion would be to have better customer relations than this guy:
