here is why u dont skimp on pistons or rods.. (((CARNAGE)))
probe industries pistons or scat rods
6k miles no real reason for cause of failure, car ran fine, even ran with a knock before i tore down and re built...
no block or crank dmg...
DONT SKIMP ON INTERNALS..

HOLY ****!!!!! thats the 3rd wrist pin ive seen broken on those junk *** probe pistons. my old ls/t had those pistons (back in 04)12lbs tuned-270 whp, and they broke just like seen above. i called them on it, said they never herd of them breaking. my friend broke a pair *** well in his tuned ls/v turbo. both at around 6-8k miles too.... both cars tuned....
this was tuned also, 10 hours of street tuning on the skunk 1's
then another 10 hours on the junIII's tuned by Blundar no doubt!!

I dunno if i'd blame the scat rods, i had a scat / SRP rotating kit in my 306 fairlane and they got the **** beat out of em. I never had any complaints. But i wouldn't trust a piston company named after fords future-turd
