Default Skunk2 Vs. Omnipower Adjustable Upper control arms.??

I did do a search and found nothing about this so i was wondering what is the difference between the skunk2 and omnipower adjustable upper control arms? Anyone have the omnipower upper control arms? Any issues or problems with them? Satisfied with them?

People have input, but most don't like repeating themselves 15 times.

Camber kits are unnecessary, but omni/skunk2 make a decent product. I had them on my sol, but was too low to have them so I took them off.

When I'm back in the office on Monday, I'll send you a pdf that compares them. In the meantime you can read more about ours in our 2007 Catalog we just released today.

Here's a link to the LCA comparison between us and the "others".

Holler if you have any questions.

They look alot like my Function 7 LCA's that I've had for quite a while. Hmm, they also have the sway bar adjustability too.

I would look into Function 7. I had some problems with earlier bushing and I received apology's and updated bushings free of charge. They had switched to a new compound and design for the bushings and I've never had a problem with them since.

I do alot of HPDE's and Auto-x's and I've never had any problems with the LCA's or bushings and that's after about 30,000 miles of wear and tear.

My mistake, I posted a link to an LCA comparison instead of an Upper control arm comparison.

Here's a link to a comparison of our camber kit(upper control arm) http://www.skunk2.com/s2_frnt_camber_compare.pdf

well i have the skunk2's and they work like a charm. Got them brand new for $100 bucks. Off a HT member. Recently there has been many companys that has come out with the adj upper control arms. Do some more research. I'd look into the ones by skunk2 definatly, blox, and omni.

heh, its funny, i want to get the upper arm camber kit to add more negative camber in the front; my front left is at about -.25 and front right is about -1, I've replaced the lower control arms, the upper control arms, i figure the knuckle may be slightly bent it is a '94 civic afterall (I tried as best as possible to level the ground, and have the car lowered evenly side to side and front back when measuring it with my camber gauge, 1/8th inch height difference can make a .25 degree difference), But I'd like to sit at about -1.75 to -2.5 in the front. My rears are at -1.25; I already have the spc upper arms in the rear. I use strings to align toe. But i worry the front upper arms will reduce clearance. I'm not severely lowered at all in the front.

All replacement UCAs with camber adjustment will reduce available front suspension travel. Its just the nature of the beast, and why they are completely unnecessary for a street car with softer rates, but acceptable for a track car trying to dial in exact camber.

That said, I'm using SPC front UCAs. They looked much thinner than the Skunk2 UCAs, which I was contemplating, and offer caster adjustment that I haven't seen on any other replacement UCA. However, even with 6" from ground to front side jack point, I still occasionally smack them into the inner fender (bottom them out) on the street. There's a nice UCA shaped indentation in the road grime that has built up inside the wheel well. I'm only running 400 lbs/in springs on a heavy full interior 00 GSR though, so your car's ride height, spring rate, weight, and road conditions, will probably be different and determine if you bottom out the UCA or not.

i've been running the omni uca's for about two seasons now without any problems. the only bad thing that comes to mind about them is that they sometimes hit the inside of my shock tower when i hit a big bump or pothole. but i'm pretty sure most other aftermarket kits will do the same if you are too low, or springs are too soft. ..
for omni power
