considering the original guy is using mild cams and blocx cams are about eleventybillions times better, that should put you over the 12,100 rpm mark for sure.
but heres what you want to do.
1. loosen your distributor and move it all teh way forward.
2. "nos" octane booster wont do. youll need 4 bottles of rubbing alcohol and a half bottle of automatic transmission fluid.
i know i know, it sounds crazy, but itll make pump gas like 116 octane.
and are the arp bolts the jdm version?
once again, dont listen to these other guys trying to feed you horseshit

This post made me do one of those 1st grader pees, I had to grab the unit and dash to the bath room giggling the whole way.

that's simple, just use a MUGEN STYLE CHIP OR SKUNK2 STYLE CHIP from ebay with a rev limit of 12k-14k, and roll it on 3rd gear with full throttlle and just wait and look closely to the tach to see when the engine broke, at that point you will know when you rev it safely the next time you repair the engine

My boy has a ALL naturalle B16 in a crx of course and its stock with KMS valve springs and retainers basically what he calls:
Stage 1 : Daily driver, Smooth Idle, Factory to slightly Modified Engine. 150–220 HP Range
He revs to 11,5oo rpms
so yea I can see 11,800 as a great rev for a gsr, especially wit typR cams.

I think you're full of ****. Everyone knows type ARRRR cams don't make power above 11,600.

dude call up omnipower and ask what the rev range is for the valvesprings that you bought. Also get the car dynoed and find out where your car stops producing power at. If it stops making power at 8500rpms then stop reving there, if its more then that then don't go over the recommended rev range specified by omnipower....if you want check the omni web site, im pretty sure its stated that the springs cannot sustain more then 9200rpms but call the manufacturer first.

With a ported and mirror polished VTECH solenoid, and something like 0.2mm taken away from the middle VTECH rocker, I don't see why they won't!
