Default double checking about an oil problem

ok my car feels like it has 4/5ths the power it use to and i just did a y8IM swap on my y7 motor. no engine lights on. ok if my mechanic used a non-synthetic oil and i had 10w30synthetic oil to begin with. than wouldnt that mean that i would have to keep on using synthetic oil??? people said yes before but i am just double checking. thanks

you do not have to stick with one oil, you can switch back and forth no problems between synthetic and dino. Additive clash between brands is very minor. Certain oils are a bit thicker than others and that could be the cause for the sluggishness, either that or the oil has sheared/thickened too much; ie its worn out.

idk i have my car back now and i am fixing what they didnt. even though i paid them a g. they arent going to just give me my money back there redneck v8 guys that would shoot someone probably. but ok now i have everything that i need no engine light, 190cc's back in, p2e ecu back in, it has a little slug to it from like 1000-2000rpm's. and then its like vtak kiks in. even though i dont have it and even if i did it wouldnt kik in at 2000rpm's after 2000rpm's it feels fine. do u think i might of fuked up my engine by running the p06 for like 15min.???? other than that it runs to my knowledge, fine.
