i got a couple holes on my hood, 10 holes to be exact. the previous owner had some hood pins, but it was removed. how do i fill the holes? there are two nickel sized holes by each headlight, surrounded by 4 smaller ones on each side. i want to fill the holes and paint it, so you can't tell there were holes.

 

weld metal patch panels in and then fill them and waste huge amounts of time, or buy a new hood

 

crash parts hood = $85, time is money. buy a new hood.

 

yea just buy a new hood. the time spent welding the holes and doing all the metal work isn't even worth it when you can get a brand new hood from honda for around 250 i believe.

yea that would work if you dont care that you'll be able to see where the hole was in the paint after your all done.

 

pretty easy, weld a fat patch panel people dont like a fat patch panel because its harder to get in there but i love it, for hood pins you need no more than a 2x2 pieace of scrap steel, also go over it with a light coat of bondo and you can pull a prettty sexy paint patch from primer wetsanded alot, paint wetsanded alot and a clear

 

go get a carbon fiber hood
