are you having a problem with your megan racing header? or are you just looking for something new?

problems? he fell behind on making the headers, so now the wait is ultra long and the customer service section is lagging. IMO if you need a header right now go with a Rage(whitfield racing) header, good header, not a bad price. plus they keep em stocked

is this header a big difference compared to a megan racing?

... and is it worth it to get such a pricey header? becuz im juss planning on getting header and intake for my motor. not planning on upgrading cams or valvetrain.

I have to say you cant beat a 1 off header and that what you get with SMSP or Randy more so with SMSP you get all the testing and testing and then a product that is the same each time he makes it. When you get a "mass produced" header you get the same testing first on the OG one....but after 100s are made on the same jig it may have slight differences, still the same great header but.

We have tested just about every header - copy's //// og's //// mass market //// underground and can say that alot of the cheap headers dont do as bad as you may thing. Most of what you get is in the tuning - of course u cant say that a ceramic coated header has the same feel and look as any stainless but some people just want to spend a certian amount and be done.

It all falls to the person and what they want and expect from the purchase - time frame / customer service / warranty / price range.

Good luck with you choice ----

just stick with what you have then. no point in spending a lot of money on a header that wont be used to it's full potential.
