I've heard / read topics that the idle @ 0,0 without leaning out basically sucks and is non-existant. I zero'd out my gears today for inspection tomorrow, and my car is idling just fine. Timing is at 16degrees... and my VAFC is at 0% across the board... am I missing something, or do some people have problems and others not?

 

My car idled perfect when it was at 0,0...You're good to go!

 

Each engine is difference. And what ECU program are you running?

stock ECU, stock valvetrain.

 

Also - anybody have hints for emissions? Everybody says to lean it out, but the car seems to / idles just fine a 0.... advice pwease..

 

Well, you can do like I did, and just see what happens (side note - I failed ). But that was with cam gears set to whatever Yack set them at when he tuned the car.

Email me tomorrow - I can give you some approximate settings tomorrow evening.

 

IMed u. Anybody else have an other hints / suggestions? A lil "sumptin sumptin" in the gas tank, or should I be ok. Rather not have to go twice, knaimean?

Idle like stock, yes. But you may still be running too rich to pass the sniffer.
