Default Where to go for install and tune around tri-state area ?

hey wassup fellas . i think i might be picking up a 2000 ITR in a couple days . and ive been doing some research . the car is going to be a daily driver . and i would like it to be dependable and i think going with a bolt-on supercharger would be anice way to go with a littlle more added extra power .

so far , i know that i would need I/H/E , hondata s300 , & JRSC . is there anything else i might need ?

and also , where is a good place to go get the install and tune around the tri-state area ? i hear alot about evans-tuning ?

no input on where you should go, but for future reference you might want to put what state in your title as tri-state is pretty non-specific. Pretty much every state that touches 2 others nearby has a tri-state area.

I'd drive the car as is for a bit and then start making your decision off of that. A JSRC'd ITR would be quite a bit of fun though. Good luck with whatever you wind up doing.

you live in jersey city... with a type r... i GUARANTEE you IT WILL get jacked within a couple of days.

you seem to be new in the honda world driving a wrx but i GUARANTEE you the type r will get stolen within hours.

as for shops? DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT go to any shops that you personally dont know.

like i said, IT WILL get stolen.

if you plan on going to dunkin donuts on those ******* race nights, you will get followed home or youll get jacked in spot. those puerto ricans dont play around, THEY WILL JACK YOUR ****.

but who am i to tell you not to buy a type r? im nobody. but if anybody comes up to me asking if i wana buy type r parts within the next couple weeks, i know its yours.

the type r is extinct in jersey city, newark, clifton

but if you want to waste your money on a car that WILL GET STOLEN, then hit up dan gsr. i think he works on a lot of the R guys on here. just stay away from those puerto rican shops in the area because IT WILL GET JACKED.

and another thing. im sure you know jiffy lube on rt440. dont ever go there. those puerto ricans are all thieves. dont believe me, get a oil change there.

Why don't you tell him what you really think?

But seriously, many people on here have heard horror stories of ITRs in NJ.

Paint it maroon and remove wing/lip and 5-lug

Who's decent in the upstate NY area? I haven't lived there in about five years, so I know a lot has changed... I've contemplated going back, not 100% sure though.

I have no clue, that's why I was asking. The last people I knew of were the guys that started Dynamic Motorsports in PA, they were from my town but I heard they pulled tons of shiesty stuff and they're done now.

What a dick. It's not just PR's that'll take it. I have tiny white kids in my neighborhood that'll snach a caR as fast as any Black, Haitian, Dominican, Thai etc.

A thief is a thief is a thief. PM me for info on alarm systems. Any shop you bring your caR to will have free reign over it for hour's, days etc. Unless you trust them they can be doing anything to it, like cutting extra keys and getting your address from the DMV

Be careful with that caR in Brick City.

I'm from the Tri-State as well, and was hard-pressed finding a reliable and trustworthy shop to have some work done.

I highly suggest Epic Tuning in Allentown, PA. Craig and Matt are great guys For tuning, non-other then Jeff Evans in Easton. Both are linked in my sig
