what hoses goes here?

(A6 block, Y8 Head)

the one that is plugged & near the thermostat housing

and the one by the sensor.

i think it goes to the nipple thats at the water neck behind the block.

the nipple with plug? in this case is it okay to leave like that because i dont have the water neck thing on the thermostat housing
