I have a 91 accord and the bright lights will not turn off the only way to get them to go out at all is to disconnect the battery. If I turn the dash lever nothing happens, the blinkers will not work no dinging that the lights are on no dash lights etc. I did go to a junkyard today and get another switch but this did not make any difference when I plugged it in. As soon as I hooked the battery up the brights came on. It does not matter if the key is in/out, car is on/off. It does not even change when I unplug the switch. I did notice the "small light" fuse was melted in the fuse box. I replaced it before I tried the new switch. Any thoughts?
