Default switching motors to h22 from h23

i have a 92 h23 prelude and we want to put an h22 motor in it. we have an obd1 skunk 2 race ecu for an h22. will all t he stock wiring harnesses plug strait up to the motor and work correctly?

Read the FAQs and get rid of that 'race' ECU.

lol race ecu.

me thinks you should look into REAL ecu's if you want to tune and gain some power.

to answer your question... your h23 harness will work. youll have to add the vtec wires, and i think theres a front temp. sensor that the h22 doesnt use, so ull have an extra plug, just take the housing in the front off ur h23 and put on ur h22, and then youll be able to use that plug.

did you buy the ECU from hmotorsonline?

there's no rev limit and you'll probaly spin a bearing when you over rev it.... yes its plug and play if its OBD1 both ways. you'll need to wire vtec solenoid and pressure. many posts on doing this. the hardest part is fishing the wires into the cabin.

I would ditch the race ecu like others stated...too easy to mess up your motor
