if its original, with enough miles, and siezed than theres a good chance nothing will get it off. I've had this happen twice. Still dealing with one of them.

Doesn't surprise me (you trying to get your nuts removed). You could always try surgery.

Worst I had, I could get the nut off, but I couldnt get the axle out of the hub. I ended up beating it with a sledge hammer to get it loose, then had to dremel the mushroomed end off in order to get it thru the hub

Thats what i had to do after breaking 1 x snap-on 32mm socket and 2 x Britool 32mm sockets (all 1/2inch)....using a 3/4 bar/socket it popped off simply (after i stood on the breaker bar!!!!)

Did this with a 10ft. steel sign post and it came right off. The sign post did flex a crapload first though...

that's what I did.... takes like 2 seconds.

I wasn't kidding. With a 4' breaker bar with all three of us trying to get it off together it still wouldn't budge. After that we figured a chisle (sp) gun would surely do the trick with all the vibration and all. Yet the chisle gun still by itself wouldn't do the trick. Alas though, heat works wonders.

Sorry for the shotty pic, it's all I got. We seem to think the last person that put it on was with an impact gun.
Edit: FWIW, we tried the impact gun to no avail.

One coal chisel + One 1/2 breaker bar + One 3/4 breaker bar + One mini torch + Two different compressor and airgun rentals + Three days = the death of that ******' nut. RIP biach.
