Yes they're still very hard to find. Basically you would almost have to order your car at this point. If you're looking for a 5MT...you could be waiting up to 6 months at this point. It sounds like Honda didn't make many Fits and they definitely didn't make as many 5 spds as they did autos.

I guess they're trying to create demand and it's working. Cripes, even if they doubled US-bound production, they'd still be short on supply.

I just wonder why they don't want to make more sales. Odd.

I don't think Honda anticipated the demand for the Fit to be so high in our market.

Ordered my fit on may 5th and picked it up on November 24th. So 6 months + for a 5 speed, but worth the wait for me.

Yes they are very hard to come by for a good price. I've been looking for a few months now and the lowest price I was offered was $18,600 OTD. Yesterday my friend's dad ordered a MT Sport Fit for me and I can't wait until it comes.

Especially on the coasts, they are exceedingly rare. Honda anticipated high sales, but they decided to swap over some of the production to Civics (which they make more money on). All Sport 5-speeds will constitute ~15% of the total production, so they are the hardest to find.

I'm in Cali and I don't see hardly any. I think I've seen maybe 3, total, since they've been out. Weird. I guess they are pretty rare right now, like the Scion's when the first came out.

The dealership in colorado had 2 fits, both auto. Deff not interested. That is strange why they wont sell more over here. Like do they want to make money or not??
