ar..sounds like a winner to me
1)is the strut blown?
2)is it a progressive spring? h&R's intergrated helper spring touches on the slightlest bump, it's more of a clunking noise.
3)is the top nut tight?
4)is the top hat properly mounted?

My eibach sportlines and h&r sports both do this. Its the dead coils slapping together.. I believe you can by some kind of tube or hose or something that wraps the dead coils so you don't hear it when they slap.

my H&R race did the same, clear homedepot tube/hose is what they use.
not the best suspension spring to use after you add something solid in between the space tho', i ended up selling my spring and damper and went straight to coilover.
