Default Tire leak

Hey. Not even year old rims, 205x40x17 tires on. Front left loses air only after taking turns fast. Had the tire re-sealed on. If I drive normally, rather slow, it takes about a month. Only tire that does it. Also no bends in the rim and pressure goes down below 30psi.

I started noticing this about 2 weeks ago. Maybe just the tire?

Any suggestions?

Could be a number of things. Have you checked to see if you ran over a screw or something? What is the rate of loss?

I think neri is right. It sounds like a puncture, probably from a nail rather than a screw. (Nails tend to leak slower.) Take it to a tire shop. They'll examine it, and if it's not obvious, they can wet the outside with soapy water to look for leaks.

another option could be that you have a bead leak as well or as everyone has stated a puncture

True. A tire shop can catch a bead leak - a leak between the tire and the wheel, at the bead - the same way as with a puncture, looking for bubbles. This year I actually had a leak that turned out to be a slightly damaged tire, with a leak in the tire itself, near the bead (damaged in an unintentional off-track excursion). Any good tire shop should be able to find the leak.

If it's due to a puncture along the tread, which is the most common cause of leaks, they can probably repair the tire for $10-15.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. The tire shop i was at did check for leaks, but didn't find any. This maybe due to the air only being lost when the tire is under load. But, I am going to take another look at it.
