Interior Lights and Radio - Too Dim?
I cant remember because I just got my car back and its been a year but I believe that my interior lights...like the gas meter and the temp gauges are too low at night when the lights are on. During the day if i have my lights on i cant even see the gauges at all. Are you gauges the same?
Also i dont know if this is related but my radio wont activate either. It has power...I can flp he face and eject and put in CD's but the radio wont acutally turn on. Was just working a week ago though...Clock is on. Fuse isnt blown. Could this all be related to a ground issue? Thanks!

There is a dimmer that you can adjust to make the guages brighter. If I have the lights on when its bright out, I always flip the dimmer to the brightest setting. It makes the guages as bright as when the lights are off.
For the sterio, it sounds like you may have a problem with the (+12v)acc connection. There may be a seperate fuse for that inline. To test you really would just need to pull the player, and run a seperate +12v. If that makes the CDP work then you need to trace the loss of voltage.

Yeah there is a seperate fuse under the dash for the ACC...I'll double check that fuse but i didnt think that was blown.
It's weird...the dimmer dial works...but doesnt make it all that bright at night. And i believe it has something to do with the cd player not getting enough power either. I'll have to find the culprit.

1992 Prelude S baby. (JDM H22 Swap boyeeee) I like to see those gauges...sometimes i drive with my lights on during the day in VA since people are idiots out here. The lifted 90ft Dogde rams sometimes cant see my Lude.
