oil in 4th cylinder

Default oil in 4th cylinder

As the title states i have oil in my 4tyh cylinder and small amount in the 3rd when i took the spark plug wires off the 4th cylinder the spark plug wire was covered in oil. i still have compression in the cylinders thou, also no over hating problems. When i car has ran for a while smoke from oil burn off come from the exhaust What could cause this?

no over hating problems huh?? hahahaha...wish we had more of that.

anyways, sounds like you might have a bad spark plug grommet. they usually get old and brittle, cracks form, then leaks oil into the spark plugs. replace those(and valve cover gasket while your at it).

Yea if theres oil in the spark plug hole its most likely the grommets underneath the VC.

Just go to Acura or Honda or a NAPA and get a valve cover gasket kit it should come with the valve cover gasket and gromlets and everything you need.....
