white smoke..
burning oil/coolant maybe? do a compression test and a leakdown test to see if everything there's okay, and if it's not normal, then you'll be able to see where the problem is.
...or you could take it to a shop to do those tests.

could be oil, i had that problem. I put too much oil in my car, tried driving it, and when i was going about 35 it would blow tons of white smoke out and had trouble gaining speed

white smoke = burning coolant, and usually indicates blown head gasket.
Try starting the car with the radiator cap off, and have someone look to see if the coolant spurts up while the car is cranking. If so, that is a blown head gasket for sure.
