any body knows how to register a right hand drive?

get papers saying you bought the car in parts, register it as a "kit car"....somwhere along those lines is one way "around" the system.

all it really takes to register a pre-96 rhd car is a vin on the left door jamb, the left side of the dash and the firewall, along with a matching title.

You mean perform a VIN swap? Did you know that is a federal offense and they will take the car and fine you thousands. Not to mention, if you have any sort of previous fruad felonies, you will most likely get jail time.

see i've had the car for a while and and just recently started trying to regester it and i've heard that its getting harder to register rhd cars in cali

Process I'm going to try first on my car. The kit car method and I have a paper from Texas DPS that is a VIN reassignment form

well that dude from motorex that he was smarter than uncle sam...and good old customs showed up and shut his *** down and slapped him with a million dollar bail...and they impounded all his ****...

btw is he still in jail.....

im pretty sure it wasn't customs. his problem was the cars he was selling were not safety inspected, and did not have any of the mods required to sell a "federalized" skyline in the states.even after that whole ordeal they were selling r32 skylines if i remember right. customs would only care if things are going over the borders that shouldnt be.
