Was looking through the DuPont Registry and saw a PY 2001. 36,000 miles, 2.0 N/A with Toda cams. Says the owner has $42,000 in receipts.
Thats all.

wow, that sounds gay with the lip and wheels but i wouldnt be suprised to see some clean r's end up there, they are very easy cars to appreciate and enjoy by anyone and it would probably be the cheapest car in there

I would say so.</TD></TR></TABLE>
The ITR was a collector car the second it rolled off showrooms in 97.
It just took ten years, and, countless ITR's destroyed for a lot of folks to realize it.
It's at least the 7th or 8th ITR I've seen in DPR over the years.
Stripped and rebuilt, heavily modded or tracked, and/or POS'd daily driver R's are never going to fetch the money a flawless unmolested car will. Hence the reason I treated every R I ever owned like a collector car and not a track *****.
All of my R's went to owners that were appreciative of the careful pampering I gave the car. The guys paid top dollar and didn't look at it like "hey it's got lots of life left in it to thrash the **** out of it"
As far as I'm concerned, there are millions of EG civics on the road that can be made into just as, if not more competent of a track car than the ITR with a car as common as a belly buttons. That can be had for the price of a high end mountain bike.

Actually, back in 98' after Acura announced that there would be no 99 ITR, I remember seeing 97's in there with asking prices from $35K and up.

YES!
I remember a CW one around that time in the DPR displayed on jackstands with all of the dealer plastics still on it for a tall asking price.

I have a 1st cousin who has listed his early 90's ZR1 Vette in the Registry. The car has spent it's life going back and forth to Vette meets and then back into a bubble that my cousin stores it in. He's asking
money for it.
money for it.
