speedo wiring + broken power steering line
1. speedometer wiring. i bought an EL cluster to replace my old non-EL cluster. much to my disappointment, it was an AUTOMATIC cluster, showing P/R/N/D4/D3/2/1. yuck. i didnt notice, of course, until i converted my old wiring over. most of the wiring in the connectors is still intact, but i pulled some out.
now my question is, does anyone know the pin layouts of the 3 connectors, in ORIGINAL configuration? i'm just gonna throw the old cluster back in.
2. broken power steering line. swapped tranny this weekend. plugging the PS lines into the VSS, i unknowingly bent one of the lines until a small hole formed. i didnt know until i tried to fill and bleed system and all the fluid came out of the hole. its the bigger of the two steel lines, and its broken at the very bottom, where it starts to curve up and join the rubber lines. any ideas on how to fix it? i was thinking just slip the rubber tubing all the way down, and clamp. or maybe JB Weld. any other ideas more than welcome.
thanks guys

#2 I'd say cut off the part that has the hole and run a rubber line with 2-3 hose clamps the rest of the way. You could probably JB Weld it, but that would be a lot more trouble to get it right.
