I've been reading up on them too, I'm in for the debate. Prices too if they could be included, please.

I'm not familiar with any of those coilovers, but I have read, without legitimate confirmation, that they are indeed all the same. So in essence, it would not matter which one you choose.

well if you say that then i would go for the Function & form or K-sport because they are obviously cheaper than the D2 . hmmmm..i really not convince this yet.

If price is your motive, then perhaps I should say that price depends on who the distributors/dealers of the coilovers are as well.

I have d2 coilovers on my eg and i must say they're really stiff. if you like stiffness then i say go for it and btw they handle really great when cornerning.

you should be concerned about longevity also.

ive been running d2's for almost half a year now, they still ride as awesome as the day i put them in. ride is a bit stiff for daily driving, but you get used to it. expect passengers to complain though, especially the ladies

im not exactly soft on my car either, so they get a from me

from what i hear, theyre all the same

but i suggest getting custom rates if they are available. i bet my car would handle tons better if i had done that and not get "off the shelf" rates

so anyone can answer me really quick if most of you mean, that they are all the same, does that mean that all of these coilovers are pretty stiff? im not a big fan driving a stiff nor too bouncy suspension everyday, i dont think my gf would mind the stiffness but i dont want her to go with me every day like that, any good recommendation if you guys feel like these 3 coilovers dont worth their price? i use to own Tokico Blue strut over Skunk2 and they are pretty good as to smooth not too bouncy and not too stiff, but im looking somethingt that would be in for a long term use. any good combination of strut and springs you would like to introduce, let me here it .. thanks

If your putting parts on a "street car", then it should be as simple as asking yourself "which brand offers a lifetime warranty?" You can bet your *** that none of these cheap Chinese/Taiwanese coil-over clones can offer that (let alone good customer service)...

If your putting parts on a "race car", then it's as easy as asking yourself "which brands are winning?"

you have a point, i did some other research, and found a brand called AMR, its pretty new on production line but i heard their quality is pretty darn good, also they offer lifetime warranty, so i guess im going to put my money on that.

I have a very good contact in Taiwan that says ksport and D2 are from the same product maker. Ksport makes some highend coilovers, but I think you are looking at the kontrol pro which is their lower end (cheaper) coilover. Looks like you have decided on AMR.

There are quite a few Taiwanese companies that make these types of C/O

http://www.shockid.com/english.htm
http://www.type-rx.com.tw/Web/index.htm

http://cens.com/cens/html/en/p....html - LCAs

I'm not saying that any of these are the companies that make D2, F&F, KSport, omni, etc, but it's not too hard to get these made in a special color if you order enough.

Did anyone notice thatr these are identical to PIC's in every way even the shock dyno.

Maybe i am wrong but i thought pic claimed to original design from them and not just a private labeled part
