Hey everybody, i got a 94 GSR and just picked up a skunk 2 manifold for it. since the gsr manifold is different i know i need a new throttle cable and throttle body spring but i wanted to know if the cable and throttle body from a B16 wouldwork. all the research i have come up with says use the ITR componants but as everyone knows they dont come cheap. Since the B16 is very similar just wanted to know if i could use the cable and a boored out throttle body from that. any help woudl be awesome. thanks

 

got my cable and braket from ebay for like 30 bucks from an acura dealer on ebay. Dealer is in Arizona, but i cant remeber their screen name.

 

i believe you cant. (correct me if iam wrong)

yeah, they are not that expensive. and i think you need bracket too.

 

i just use the stock gsr bracket and cable. all i did was put like an inch and a half of washed between the bracket and throttle body. it sits very high though but still clears the hood. hope that help.

i know ebay use to have them on there but i havnt seen the bracket and cable in about 3-4 weeks. even if i do get those wont i need to get a new throttle body, or at least a new spring? I believe the gsr and itr throttle bodies are designed slightly diff. thanks
