Ill post the name and number of the company I used to ship my R shell from northern NJ to south FL. It cost me 900 bucks fully insured for a non-operational car. They also picked the car up within 3 days and I received the car i think 4 days after that.

That was one of the best prices i could find considering their response time and I called atleast 10 companies. Some also told me to expect to wait 1-3 weeks before they pick the car up as well.
Also, this price was 200-300 higher because the car was non-operational (rolling shell. I think your going to have a hard time getting a car shipped for 400 bucks from cali to tenn.

Damn that pretty good. Just make sure that your car will be fully insured and includes door to door service.

I think the insured only comes up if its not a running car.. All the companys that I know of work like this .. All company drivers are covered for ANY car they drive .. and your veh is in there hands ..(alot more can be said about this)
Door to door could be a problem for a few reasons , but if your nere any kind of auto auction .. Have them meet you there... or pick up there.. I know in Cali and in Ten we have Manheim auction's. And you might beable to get it cheaper to have it picked up and shiped to places like that.
In-Op car , ya if it doesnt run they could try to charge extra , but if its a roll back anyways ..
I know they use towtrucks to push cars on trucks here all the time lol
Ill have an better cost idea for u soon
