I have ek hatch with 97 gsr swap, bone stock, tuned with crome pro obd1 p72 ecu chipped.
THE mechanic told me its my ignitor?? Does that sound right??? We test drove together and it only happens when i hit 4 up to vtec and slow down car shuts off and when i start again it wont budge, i have to turn key off an dturn key on, car turns on but dies again, car turns on dies again, after waiting a while for idle, car starts up and drives normal, and repeats itself after driving and hitting 4k and up only, it bogged last nite also and cel popped up. Is the ignitor right?

oNLY CAR RUN NORMAL NOW NO CEL BUT WHEN I GUN HIT 4K AND UP CAR SHUT OFF

 

IS MY DIZZY BAD? I DONT WANNA REPLACE IT , IT COST ARM N LEG. THE IGNITOR IS INSIDE DISTRIBUTOR
