Is anybody using these in their D16a6? Looking for reviews/comments on them. I'm trying to get some good, cheap upgrades for under $300, and this fits into that category (or so i think).

 

best cams you can get for your a6 there regrounds though u have to send yours in to be ground into spec.


akso a good choice is the delta cams

 

I used to have a delta cam, very nice, and they have great turn around time. Or did, when I got mine.

 

well, i just called delta, and for $130 i can have it shipped to me in a couple days. so two fridays from now, i'll be placing an order for one, and hopefully get some good gains from this.

exospeed is having a sale or atleast were having a sale on a6 cams. the 909 is consisdered by some to be the best

I'll try my best, but right now I don't have any dyno numbers for my car. But as soon as I get a few more things together (Z6 intake mani, B-Series Throttle Body, Megan Racing Header) I'm gonna hopefully go in for a tune/dyno and see what kind of numbers the little 1.6litre will make.

yeah there are the best espeacially the 909 good for boost and all motor

 

how much power am i lookin at??? i got almost stock a6.... sorry for newb q. lol.

 

how much power with just a sr909 stage 2 cam from exospeed maybe around 10- to 15 hp depending on other mods

i recommend getting a z6 intake mani and maybe a pg7 this combo along with 4-2-1 header and ful exhaust did me good enough for 14's

 

wow, not bad at all! does it help with the powerband alot? or is it just in certain areas?

 

well they recommend upgraded valve train cuz the powerband with that cam pushes up to 8 grand. so yeah its nice lol

the Sr909 was heavily tested on our own cars back in the late 90s to 2001. So we have experience with the sr909 and race a6 cams for daily driving.

we made about 142hp to the wheels with the Sr909 with our headwork, stock A6 block, milled 20thou, DC headers, Ported TB, and straight through exhaust.

the Race A6, we've tested on a similar motor but with P29 pistons. This came out about 156 to the wheels with similar bolt ons as above but with a Y8 intake manifold.
