Default "How to Incorrectly Mount Your Lip" by some Indiana idiot

Alright, well after mixed reviews from my night photos of my new lip I decided to take some daytime shots. Its still "technically" mounted wrong, haha. In the daylight though I don't think it looks as horrible. Eventually I'm sure I'll fix it, but for now I'll just try to avoid bugs on the road to keep it in place Thanks for looking!

Thanks! I'll take that as a compliment, haha. And apparently the fitting issue is because the top of the lip is supposed to wrap up into the grill. I don't know why I didn't think of that. First lip I've ever mounted. Live and learn I suppose

IMO that lip is just way too big and just doesn't flow well.

Installed right, or wrong... that lip is hideous on ALL Honda's.

Get the stock Si looking lip that is available.

Thanks for the opinion. The only thing that makes it look so big is that it SHOULD be wrapped over the top of the bumper. I've seen it on some other cars now that I've mis-installed mine. D'oh!

The Si lip is a little bland in my opinion. I'm not gung-ho on flashy parts or anything but it just seems like EVERY sol is rockin' that lip. Not that it looks bad but I really wanted this one. If only I had learned to install it before I started bolted stuff down, haha.

Haha, yeah for some reason that picture captures how it looks in person. And it doesn't sag as bad as it looks. Its pulled right up the bumper. I think it just has to do with needing the front pulled up and over. Thanks though.

Besides 3/4 of your female family? Oh, the lip?! I see. I've unintenionally installed it wrong, haha. Everything I read about lip mounting was for the ex/si. I think if I get it right, I"m gonna do a DIY. Nothing gave me the clue that it was supposed to be pulled up and over the front grill area.

Yeah but I only payed $35 for mine shipped (courtesy of a hook up). Don't get me wrong I think that would look sweet. But with as "great" (/sarcasm) as I did with this install I don't think I should be entrusted with carbon fiber just yet

Haha, actually 3 friends were involved. How we mucked it up I haven't the slightest. You did read the title of the thread, right? Maybe I should changed "idiot" to "idiots".
