I am amazed, and confused. I thought basically all the 4bolt civic wheels are interchangeable. A guy offered me a nice set of 13" steelies on great rubber from his 96 CX hatch. I bought em and try to mount it on the front wheels and it didn't even fit!! It's rubbing on the caliper!!!! I bought them and im' stuck with them, wtf is going on???
The car I have is a 1996 Civic EX coupe EJ8 with stock brakes.

Your brakes are too big to fit a 13" wheel on. That is what is going on. You need 14" wheels or more (with correct offset, bore size, and bolt pattern)
13" wheels will only fit hatches of that generation as far as I know.
What you need to do is sell them and get something that fits.
Cheers.

Nope. old man neri explained it well. The lug pattern (4x100, i.e. 100 mm diameter lug center circle) is the same on all of them, and I think they all have a 56 mm center bore. Some cars have bigger calipers than others, and so may need bigger wheels. Also, sometimes a car can clear some wheels of a given diameter, but not others, because of the design of the spokes and where they do (or don't) interfere with the calipers.
(Some wheel widths differ slightly, and offsets probably do too.)

Thanks alot for the insight guys, i should get them sold soon hopefully.
The centercaps come with those style wheels, mainly 92-98 CX or DX unless you get optional wheel covers
