over the holiday weekend.....removed what used to be a kick *** running ZC...before the timing belt broke...and replaced it with a ZC from Jspec Motors out of Texas...in a 1990 Civic Si 4gen Hatch with manuel tranny....having problems getting the replacement to fire!! believe have narrowed it down to the starter..cannot get local parts stores to match a starter..tried 88-89 integra starter..wont fit...tried 90 stock Si starter..no go....any info on starter part number for blacktop ZC DOHC 1.6.....and or any links to troubleshooting so i can get my baby running again!!! THX to ALL for ANy help!!!!

I believe the starter matches the transmission. I have a DX trans in mine, with the DX starter. Works fine. You sure the stock one wont fit?
