hey this is my update and progress of my car. This is my daily beater car. I also track this car once a month, so its been through a lot. the orginal color of this was green. Its a 96 integra LS automatic. This car has been handed down from me with 2 accidents under its belt. (Clean tittle still. i have the car fax to prove it ) . You can say this is pretty ghetto but im just having fun with what i got and whats the point of paying $$ for a new paint job when i'm tracking my car and beat on it everyday? the reason why i painted my car was that it had some huge *** screw driver marks from haters from the og owner (not my sis). I aslo had fun with the paint so bare with me on the different style paint job lol. So free car = why not have fun with it right? here's some pics....

Here's my car all sanded down and bondo up.


I started with gray but man everyone told me it looked like primer so i swtiched colors. oh yea just to let u guys know i rolled my car...if you couldnt tell (haha i bet you did)


so what color did i pick? white of course.


Ok so it looks good white but it only had 4 layers of paint and it wasnt good enough. you could still see a little gray if you looked close up. also i saw some pictures of integras with a black top. so i dont kno why, in my head i was like "its i have the paint but i also have extra black paint. hmmm..why not" yeah this is what it looked liked.


i even went further to make it the integra i always wanted but the cheaper version haha...this didnt last long..only a week with this look. haha i just wanted to see how it would look and so on.



I also painted my rim gold with a lip. not polished yet.


so now with having fun i was back on track to my true goal. and it was just to make it white with a black roof.



So knowing that this car was green it had a tan interior....not for long. I painted it all black..




nothing really special to this car just come coilovers and strut bars and tires. engine wise nothing but a K20a swap.

i just have a AEM SRI cause my OEM one was going out and it was expensive to replace it with a K&N filter and i found the short ram for cheap. i also made an ice box out of it.


i also made a couple of bars like the ITR trunk bar dont have a picutre of this yet but soon. i also made a camera mount that looks like a C-Pillar bar hahaa. funny stuff. also a home depot lip haha i got flamed on this one for sure.

and i said i did go tracking, and here's my car at streets of willows spring,



so yeah thanks for looking...go ahead and flame me all u want it doesnt really matter haha. i'll be updating here and there. around summer auto to manual swap so i'll get some pictures of that. and yea just some simple upgrades will come up soon.

haha if i had a better integra i would of treat it better, but this is a handy me down car. and this car has been in 2 accidents and a lot of vegas trips from the previous owner and my sis.

 

that lip is ugly, i wouldnt even put that on my integra.

when people first started doing this a 4 years back , a friend of mine came over after my ITR lip broke on the freeway after hitting a few cones.. had fun with home depot substitute for a few weeks then I took it off..

I think this material looks better though.

 

I would be embarrassed to drive that thing. Its a beater so why bother wasting your time with ghey bars from home depot?

 

oh and you forgot to finish painting your roof

 

that **** is ghetto as expletive. I really like one-off, creative projects that don't cost a lot of money, but damn dude, shoulda left it stock.

Reza's home depot lip actually looks kinda dope, makes the rivets or whatever the hell those are make it look raw. Painting some flat color it or making the finish look more consistent could even make it look decent.

 

damn paint looks good your car looks sick in the first pic but the lip and c pillar bar just take it off

 

c pillar is just haggard.

take that and the lip off.

the paint is looking decent, need some good daytime close up shots, are you sanding after each 2 coats or so, and have you buffed it yet?

cheap costing and cheap looking. but if u like it. that's all that matters. thumbs up to ingenuity

yeah , thats exactly what I though as well.

Im thinkin of picking up another stock bumper and doing it with sheet metal.

 

not really feelin that lip.

 

Man, the lips are like what 60, 70 bux shipped from here
C pillar bar from ebay is like 40 shipped

There's no better beater than a stock car. I'm not feeling it.

I've come to really hate black roofs on tegs. Looks ridiculous IMO
