I am 110% sure that all (hf,dx and si) have the same spline number and size going into the transmission but hf are smaller at the hub side on crx. Although on hatches both standard and dx are small hubs and only si are the big hubs. I have tried all and know from expierience. Hope this helps!

the dx and SI are the same.

the standard hatch/HF are the same (smaller outer spline count)

all 88-91 civic/crx axles are the same

EXCEPT for the HF and STD hatches..

92+ axles will not work...

i explained why here:

Here's something I never hear about on this topic...

What about the 88-91 Civic LX axles? What will those work with?

The LX is essentially a DX but with more options (power windows, etc etc) so the compatibility would be with the DX/Si

100% CORRECT!!!!

DX - SI = 23 outter spline
STD - HF = 22 outter spline (I hate this set up)

How about when it comes to Auto and Manual? Are they still the same or different?
