hey guys,
My friends tach gauge on his cluster keeps bouncing. The idle is fine, but the needle constantly jumps around on its own whether at idle or driving. Also, he said the car is jerking. I did the timing on the distributor and the timing on the cam is fine. Not sure what is wrong though. Anyone clue?

 

Check all the vacum lines

 

its a sign that the ignitor is going bad in the distributor

 

we tested everything and found that the distributor needs to be replaced. Will that cure everything?
