Default does this effect handling at all?

does removing the rear bumper support have an effect on the handling at all? i made some 3rd gear pulls today and it seemed like the rear end wanted to get loose, but i do have shitty tires on the rear i just replaced.

if anything it makes is sloppier (understeer) because you are removing stiffness.

try better tires or get an alignment.

for good handling, all you got to do, is remove the doors, hood and trunk. Then break all the windows out for an added little weight loss. You will be on rails and be quieker in the quarter...

The Integra type R has an added brace on the rear frame rails behind the strut towers. It's a very similar chassis. Take that as you will.
