Some Toda Cam ?'s
EDIT: I'm running B's before you read and wonder "whats he running."
What is the recommended injector size? I've read some posts saying you should definately upgrade injectors (sgT) and others saying you don't need to do anything but bump up your fuel pressure?
Also, what seems to work for most people in regards to FPR's? The B&M + gauge seems like the cheaper of the options for under 100$, but you have to cut off the top of the stock FPR. I've heard +'s and -'s about the AEM, too.
Last but not least valvetrain and compression. Obviously upgrading the valvetrain to raise rev limit, etc. is a must. (I'm running Spec B's., currently stock VT, stock ECU.).. whats everyone's opinions on compression, and the best CR to run?

The head is coming off this weekend for Portflow inners, ITR outers.. and I'm thinking of picking up Vegeta's harness and ECU chipped for B's.. (6300 VTEC, 9300 Revlimit)... Its either that, or go with the PowerFC sittin in the kitchen.
(Just need to get my OBD2 B > A harness made.)
Whats suggested for that... thx.

Trooth,
If you need an OBD2v2 to OBD2 harness made I can do that for you. It is a plug and play install. Email me if you need one. Thanks.

Haven't decided if I'm using that other ECU, or going with the PowerFC....

Speaking of FC, anybody try the new AEM EMS yet? Some one is selling one in the classifieds.

Finally - if you log too much data while driving, it will hang their program and shut your car down while driving.
Definately not on the top of my "EMS/DFI" list.

Tell you what - give me seven grand to pay off my bills and another two g's for the build-up, and I'll keep it

I think the consensus is that the best cc/min for Spec b's is 310 or so. Combined with Hondata - that is your best setup. Some guys use higher flowing injectors like 440s and can make it work - but then you DEFINITELY need something like Hondata or a standalone ECU.
I think the strategy being employed with respect to using the higher flowing injectors is to reduce the duty cycle of the injector and decrease the chance of having one of your injectors fail at high rpms. It's also cheaper and less of a hassle than replacing the stock fuel pump.

http://www.capitolone.com - 0% interest for 1 year. Just add the 2g's for buildup into your existing. Mind as well spend it, cuz ya can't take it with ya.
Bought the Scout - on credit.
Modded the Scout - on credit.
Modded the R - on credit.
See the pattern?

note - I am not selling the R because I can't afford to keep it. I'm selling it because I can't afford to do anything with it

Debt-free + b00st is the way for me
To complete what Mr. Bastard just said, you should definetly raise the compression ratio to get the most out of the spec B. Anything around 12:1 is good. I am personnaly running with 11.4:1 and I would be to chicken to raise it more. I will be dyno tuning shortly so i will see the HP I get.
The B&M FPR + gauge is a very good set-up. (no comment on the AEM).

Just curious what you've done to raise your CR... deck block, higher comp. pistons, etc?

My guess would be JDM ITR pistons with a 2 pcs headgasket. You will get around 11.4CR with that!!

You guess good. It is a Spoon 2 layer headgasket to be more precise.
