just got a 91 EF and wanted to installed a APEX SAFC controller
hey everyone i just got a 91 EF my first honda i have a 91 mr2 but i always love HONDA's so i found my self a clean EF and i bout the new Apex NEO controller for my mr2 but i decided to installed it in my ef since it doesnt have a PRM gauge. It's the newer version of the SAFC 2 but with this controller it has a built in Vtech in it, so you can use it for vtech cars or non-vtech. what i wanted to know was can anyone show me with pictures or step by step how to installed it to my EF non-vtech???
it's vtec.
and you can download the instructions from Apex-i's website. if your "EF" (i think its an ED, but whatever) is stock, why are you installing the NEO? i know you said because the car doesnt have a tachometer, but you can actually buy an SI gauge cluster or an aftermarket tach, sell off the NEO, and pocket about $150.
your same question was asked yesterday, matter of fact.... its on this same page, about 3 threads down.
reading and searching benefit everyone on this site.

well i dont want to sell it because i can use it later on and i matter as well use it since i have it
so, youre going to adjust the fuel timing characteristics on your bone stock dpfi civic? or take it to a tuner and put it on a dyno? either way, sounds like a huge waste. but, if you must...... check out the instructions on apex-i's website like i said earlier.
