One of my friends is looking to get a 92 Civic LX cheap because it has a blown HG.
I saw it. It has a D15, but I could not see the other number because there was oil everywhere. It is not a VTEC head, and the spark plug tubes are on the side of the head, close to the intake manifold.
Putting a new headgasket is pretty straight forward right? Take off header, timing belt, distributor, take off head. Have head resurfaced, put new HG on block, put head on, reset timing, put dizzy on, fill radiator and go.
