Default Ebay headlights and taillights... Are they crap?

So I was looking through some headlights and taillights on Ebay and I found some that I wanted to get but I don't know if they are cheap-*** low quality items because of the brand and price. But I've heard a lot of different things about Ebay so can anyone who has purchased some headlights or taillights give me some good/bad feedback? Thanks.

don't buy them unless they're OEM Honda, and just because something is on ebay doesn't mean it's a knockoff, i've gotten almost everything on my car from ebay

the only thing i can see wrong with those would be leaking/condensation.

if i were to buy lights off ebay i would go over them with a bead of silcone and make sure they were sealed properly.

otherwise i see nothing wrong with "ebay" lights

I had the black housing HALO ones and they are a waste of time. They haze really bad, the halos don't work after 3 months, and the visibility is poor. I was considering the TYCs because I like the clean look of the one piece headlights. Plus, they are most definitely the best eBay and aftermarket headlight available for the EG. A bit more money, but much better product.

headlights from ebay arent really good. i ordered a piar for my ej and the lense started to peal up and got yellow really quick, plus the fitment was crappy.. Buy oem they fit perfect, look better, and they wont peal (well mine didnt).

Never buy Ebay projector headlights!!! They came with my car and everytime it rained they would condensate and you could even see little rocks in what not inside. The light out sucks really bad. Stick to OEM headlights.

But i did buy the Red and white "JDM" style taillights and never had a problem with them and they look better then the stock Ej1 taillights IMO.

I also bought a a lip from ebay. i got it cheap *** hell. 55 bucks shipped. ABS plastic too. Fit perfect, way better than most of the CF lips people around here are rockin and i bumped into curbs and no problem.

Advice shop around try to get a good price and compare it to other products on ebay.

Well, you can't really miss on taillights, since they're just lenses. I actually like the look of one of the LED taillights on eBay. My friend has them on his EG and they are sick. They're the smoke ones that are completely flush. At night, they are really clear and bright, plus when you're about 30 feet behind him you start to think you're following a Lotus...until you see the 'H'.

i don't have the LED kind but they do look awesome, but not so awesome after 5 or 6 months. The individual little bulbs start to go out and it looks tacky.

The ones DEPO makes are good. He's had a pair since last Summer, and they all are as bright as they were new. LEDS will outlast the car unless defective.

I bought some about a year ago and still on my car. Personaly, I think the black housing refectors are better than my oem headlights. Mine are starting to crack a bit on the sides but problem can be solve by sticking your oem cover on the black housings. I've heard this froms several people who have them also.
The ebay projectors are ****. I used them for about 2 weeks and hated it.

My projectors bought off ebay came very clean and fit perfectly. I've had them for over a year now and I've drove through winter with them on and I'm glad to say that mine are still look like new!
