What camber kit to buy and where?
my car has been lowered for about a year. im getting new tires this summer and dont want uneven tread wear. everyone says Ingalls front camber kit but with what type of bushings, polyerethane or rubber? who has the best price for the ingalls kit? also, has anyone done the washer and longer bolt trick to fix the back camber. is it reliable and does it do the job? thanks.
I don't like the Ingals kit, I don't really have a reason. I like the Skunk 2 kit better, replace the whole upper A-arm. The washer trick works well in the back. I have done it. The only problem is that a shop won't do it for you, so you kinda have to guess at it. For severe camber adjustments, I would not do it, and I would put the Speciality Products rear camber adjuster on.
i'll second that.............
try going to http://www.optauto.com i think they have them for like 190.00

I got a specialty products camber kit.. No problems with it what so ever it does the job and thats all u really need. No squeeks or anything.. Mine adjusts up to 3 degrees and only cost $125. it even comes with the rear washers.
I plan on pickin up the skunk2 kit from a hookup that my friend has. As far as which brand is better... I can't say for certain, but i've heard members say that the ingalls kit will knock on the upper fender wall, which is why it is probably better to get a kit that replaces the entire upper control arm.
I'm using the Skunk2 a-arms. I've installed Ignalls kits on other cars and wasn't impressed. The Skunks are working out great so far.
I've done the washer trick in the back before with good results but wanted to try the Specialty Products adjustable links. They aren't installed yet but I will say that they are darn heavy. Donno how I feel about that yet.

I'm running Ignalls polyerethane bushings. They seem to do that job and dont squeak. A camber kit is a camber kit in my opinion. rubber would seem to be better for squeaking tho.

Good luck finding a skunk2 front kit. They seem to be on backorder for a while. I just ordered a set of ingalls this week, because my tires are gone, and I don't want the same fate for my next set. I ordered front and rear ingalls from a groupbuy for 253 shipped, with tax(CA). Luckily Kuhmo's are cheap

the skunk2 front kits has been on backordered for sometime, but should be in sometimes next week. I will stock up on some... as for rear kit, the best priced ones are SRR (a Taiwanese company that produce road race products, SRR stands for Super Road Racing, yah cheesy sound but they're stuff are pretty good).

their rear kit is a combination of al. and steel. it uses hard rubber bushing instead of expensive spherical bearing like full race setups to keep the cost down.
