Default Update: Rear Speaker Rattle

As I posted a few weeks earlier, I went to my nearest Honda dealership and had my rear speakers fixed (added insulation under warranty), to get rid of the rattle. It might just be me, but it only lasted 30 seconds. By the time I got home, it was just as bad as before. Does any1 else still have the bass rattle? I put a microfiber towel between the glass, third brake light, and the rear deck. PROBLEM 99% SOLVED. No rattle, just a little green towel showing through the third brake light. ghetto I know

Adjust your bass and subwoofer settings from Ghetto Blaster to Human being and you should be fine.

You should never have the bass maxed out unless your listening to the radio if your playing decent cd's leave it at 2 bars from the end i can bring it to volume level 30 with no rattle or distortion.

I have the same problem, not to mention there's ANOTHER rattle back there now as well.

I have the subwoofer on 3 and bass on 2 and it'll rattle. I can turn it to 0 and certain songs/voices will still cause it to rattle. It pisses me off to be honest so I'm just going to fix the damn thing myself this time.

WOW! I said the towel-thing was ghetto, not the music I was listening to. I have the sub on 1, and bass on 1, and it will still rattle if turned up to 10. And it is the same with all types of music, not just one. Okay? Thanks for ur input tho -

Mine was doing it too even when it was stock. I had dynamat installed and it didn't help. I ended up insulating that whole panel with an old towel inbetween. Its ghetto but no one will ever know its there unless they take it apart or I tell them. I now have a bazooka sub I can listen to my radio with the bass and subs on whatever level I feel like with no rattling. Except now at a certain bass tone I get a little rattle but its so rare that I havn't even try to fix it. This is kinda off topic but sometimes when I first start my car the sub just goes off and hits for like half a second all by itself when the radio hasn't even turned on or anything. Does anyone else have this problem or know what is causing it.

I have more of a rattle coming from my door speakers than anywhere else. This really pisses me off.
