Default Tig question about welding mild steel

Ok im working on a fuel rail its 1/16" thick when im welding it im notice that there is alot of dark grey pin holes. Can having my argon up to 18-20psi be too high thats its cooling it down to fast?

15-20 psi that amount of gas should be enough. it might be porosity possibly from contamination did you clean the part good? also when you have a part that thin and small tube like the heat has no place to go making it harder to keep cool..
